Who we are

The Heart Behind Rove Acres

Welcome to Rove Acres — a queer woman-owned property and creative event space nestled in Bear River East, Nova Scotia.

We’re Mallory and Christina, a married couple with roots in creativity, community-building, and a deep love for the land. Rove Acres is our dream in motion — a place where people can come together to celebrate, slow down, and experience the magic of the Annapolis Valley.

This is our very first season, and every corner of this space has been shaped with care. From our first year wildflower field and tree-lined ceremony spots to cozy nooks for picnics and gatherings, we are building Rove Acres with intention. We’re not interested in perfection — we’re here to offer something real, welcoming, and connected to nature.

Whether you're here for a community celebration, a micro-wedding, a craft night, or just to breathe in the quiet of the countryside, we want you to feel at home. We believe in inclusivity, sustainability, and the beauty of everyday magic — and we’re committed to creating a space where everyone is safe, seen, and celebrated.

This is just the beginning. Rove Acres will keep evolving, with glamping experiences, micro-retreats, and more nature-forward offerings on the horizon.

We’re so grateful to grow this place — and this community — with you.
